Atlanta Austin Founder & Principal Consultant
I’ve never been very good at walking past a problem and pretending I don’t see it.
I’m Atlanta Austin, Founder and Principal Consultant of Business Forward Consulting Group. I created Business Forward for organizations that know something needs to change—but may not have the time, internal resources, or specialized support to move it across the finish line.
Before launching Business Forward, I served as a Chief Operating Officer within the community association management industry. My career has been built inside the day-to-day realities of running a business: leading teams, overseeing operations, implementing technology, strengthening processes, navigating periods of change, and turning leadership priorities into work that actually gets completed.
That experience taught me something important: most operational problems are not caused by a lack of good ideas or hardworking people. They happen when systems, processes, technology, and expectations are not working together.
That is where I do my best work.
I enjoy getting close enough to an operation to understand what is really happening—not just what should be happening on paper. I ask questions, identify the friction, connect the pieces, and help build a clearer and more sustainable way forward.
My background includes extensive hands-on experience with operational strategy, process improvement, technology implementation, workflow development, team training, platform adoption, and organizational change. I have spent hundreds of hours administering and implementing Vantaca, led HOAi adoption, supported system migrations, built repeatable processes, and helped teams translate new technology into practical everyday use.
While technology is an important part of my experience, my work is never only about the software. A platform can only be successful when the workflows make sense, employees understand how to use it, and leadership has created the structure needed to support it.
I am also deeply people-centered. Strong operations should not make work feel more complicated. They should give employees greater clarity, help leadership see what is happening inside the business, and create a better experience for the people the organization serves.
Through Business Forward, I bring together executive-level perspective and hands-on implementation. I don’t simply identify what could be better—I help organizations make meaningful progress toward it.
At my core, I am curious, practical, relationship-driven, and energized by a worthwhile challenge. I genuinely enjoy finding what is holding an organization back and helping build what will move it forward.
Fix what’s holding you back. Build what moves you forward.
